Our Sockeye portions are hands down our best seller! Sockeye is one of the most prized of all salmon species. It is known for its bright red color, firm texture and rich, delicious flavor. Sockeye is definitely our favorite! Our boneless Sockeye portions are super convenient if you are cooking for 1-3 people. Amazing quality, 100% Sushi grade!

- Portions: Individually vacuum-sealed, boneless portions (5–8 oz each)
- Quantity: 22–26 portions per 10 lb order
- Cut Variety: Each box includes ~8 tail pieces, with the rest made up of center and shoulder cuts
- Storage: Arrives frozen; stays fresh in your freezer for up to 1 year
- Box Size: 16" L × 11" W × 6" H
Note: Each full fillet is cut into three pieces (tail, center, and shoulder). We carefully maintain this ratio when packing, so every 10 lb box contains about 8 tails, balanced with center and shoulder cuts.

During checkout, you’ll choose your preferred shipping date. We ship via UPS on Mondays and Tuesdays, and your order will arrive Wednesday through Friday, depending on where you live.
Your fish is packed in a sustainable cooler with dry ice to help ensure it arrives frozen. Tracking information will be emailed to you as soon as your order ships, so you’ll know when to expect it.
Shipping Costs
We fish in Alaska, but we ship from our hometown of Asheville, NC.
As a general guideline, if you live east of the Mississippi River, shipping rates are:
- Up to 23 lbs: $55
- Up to 30 lbs: $69
- Up to 50 lbs: $99

Why Isn’t Shipping Free?
We get it — everyone loves free shipping. But shipping frozen fish is expensive, and that cost has to show up somewhere.
Some companies build shipping into the price of the fish. We prefer to keep our pricing more transparent and charge a flat shipping rate instead.
Our 10 lb box, including shipping, is priced similarly to many competitors. And if you order more than 10 lbs, our flat-rate shipping can offer big savings.
The more you stock up, the better the value.
How it works :
Each summer my partner Steve and I head to Bristol Bay, Alaska to participate in the largest Sockeye salmon fishery in the world. After our salmon are picked out of the net they are placed directly, and with great care, into an icy slurry that quickly cools them. They are then delivered to a processing facility where they are filleted, de-boned, and flash frozen to preserve that "just-caught" freshness.
