Succulent, rich, buttery and amazingly delicious! Black Cod contains more healthy Omega 3's oils than almost any other fish that swims in the sea. With its beautiful snow-white flesh and velvety texture, Alaska Black Cod is a premium white fish that is a delicacy to enjoy.

It is most definitely our family's favorite!  Promise....you're gonna wish would would have ordered more!  Most similar to Sea Bass.....if we had to compare.

Shipping Costs:

We fish in Alaska, but we ship from our hometown of Asheville, NC. As a rough guideline, if you live East of the Mississippi River we can ship to you for the below amounts. Check out our shipping page for a detailed map of nationwide shipping costs.

  • $49 for up to 23 lbs
  • $69 for up to 30 lbs
  • $98 for up to 50 lbs

Why isn’t shipping free?

We are aware that most of our competitors offer free shipping, however this cost is built into their price. Our 10 lb box of salmon with shipping is similar or less than our competitors, HOWEVER, if you order more than 10 lbs, our flat rate shipping offers a big savings to you!

How it works :

Each summer my partner Steve and I head to Bristol Bay, Alaska to participate in the largest Sockeye salmon fishery in the world. After our salmon are picked out of the net they are placed directly, and with great care, into an icy slurry that quickly cools them. They are then delivered to a processing facility where they are filleted, de-boned, and flash frozen to preserve that "just-caught" freshness.

Our exclusive salmon is available on a limited basis. Order now and.... DON'T MISS THE BOAT!

The Black Cod is luxurious! Easy to cook and a pleasure to eat. Pan saute using the arroser method produces a wonderful product! Enjoy

Sablefish aka Black Cod

I purchased Black Cod because I have an adventurous palette and did not know that Black Cod was another name for Sablefish. LOL. I pan seared it and finished it with a giarlic, ginger, honey and soy glaze. I served it on a bed of farm fresh salad drizzled with the remaining uncooked glaze. The result was melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness! I will be purchasing it again Thank you for bringing such a high quality product to our area. Easiest 5 star rating I’ve done in a long while.

Delicious black cod

Tender fish. Delicious buttery taste. Only 1 drawback….they have fine bones. However, the taste outweighs the little bones.
